Yuasa Battery Sales (UK) Ltd have been awarded Halfords’ Annual Supplier of the Year 2016. The prestigious award was given out at the 2016 Halfords Annual Supplier Conference in Birmingham.
Being the major award of the event, it is seen as the most difficult for a supplier to win. Exceptional supply performance and the introduction of new products and services were cited as key contributing factors to the award being given to Yuasa.

The award is well deserved”

With over 460 stores nationwide, and a strong online retail presence, Halfords are one of Europe’s largest retailers of car parts. As battery supplier to the retailer since 2013, Yuasa has worked with Halfords to increase battery sales during this period. Various new initiatives such as new product ranges, point of sale displays and direct delivery of batteries have been launched during this time.

In addition to automotive batteries, Halfords stores also stock Yuasa’s motorcycle and powersport, and mobility ranges. Yuasa’s entire range of automotive, motorcycle and powersport and mobility batteries are also available for home delivery from Halfords’ website.
