Yuasa to sponsor Bradley Hobday in British Sprint Championship

Yuasa is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Bradley Hobday in the 2015 MSA British Sprint Championship.

Having won the Association of South West Motor Clubs Sprint Contest outright in 2012 and 2014, this is 27-year-old Bradley’s first season in the British Sprint championship. He has already made a promising start to his 2015 campaign and after the two opening rounds he is second overall and leads five out of the six championship categories.

Piloting his 998cc Jedi Mk 4 race car, Bradley is not only hoping to win his junior class,  but also make an impact on the overall championship which features more experienced drivers with higher powered cars. At the Castle Combe season opener he finished first in class, took the lap record by seven seconds and made the top 12 run offs. Bradley’s top form continued going into round two at Croft where he finished first in class taking another lap record in the process.

Yuasa has a long and proud heritage in motorsport and has enjoyed phenomenal success on track over recent years. The battery manufacturer has been the title sponsor of Honda Yuasa Racing in the British Touring Car Championship since 2012 and also sponsors the Repsol Honda team in MotoGP.
