Yuasa helped to put on a high-energy motoring spectacle for Halfords at the retailer’s special ‘Revving Up 4 Peak’ events earlier this month.
As part of their UK-wide winter push, Halfords brought all of their Managers together for a briefing on forthcoming promotions. The proceedings were held across three iconic automotive venues, Silverstone, Aintree and Mercedes Benz World.
Yuasa sponsored the motoring activity, and with the help of Spiderzone – the marketing agency who planned all of the events, employed the skills of multiple world record holder and stunt driver Terry Grant to put on a spectacular stunt show for the delegates.
Driving a Nissan Juke carrying Yuasa’s logo, Terry performed different shows specially developed with Spiderzone to make the most of the facilities available at each venue. These included remarkable high-speed two-wheel stunt displays, passenger laps full of energetic manoeuvres, and pulse raising, wheel screeching drift sessions.
The events were a great success and over 200 attendees went away from each event buzzing and motivated, ready for the busiest period of the year.
