Dear valued customer
As the Coronavirus situation evolves, we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we are continuing to monitor the outbreak and our number one priority is to keep our colleagues and customers safe.
We are working with all departments of our business to ensure that precautionary measures are in place to minimise the risk of exposure within in our offices and warehouses.
From Monday 23rd March we will be operating a split shift policy within our automotive and motorcycle distribution centre in Swindon as a precautionary measure. This is being done to reduce team sizes and therefore the potential of transmission. We have also brought in measures to change the way visitors are able to access our site.
The implementation of these measures may mean that some orders will not be picked until later in the afternoon. Consequently, deliveries may be delayed by up to 24 hours. We are, however, doing everything possible to ship all orders on time.
Our industrial distribution centre is operating as normal.
We are also working with all teams across the business to reinforce hygiene and social distancing guidelines issued by the UK government as well as implementing a plan for home working where applicable. As a consequence of this our office staff may contact you using mobile phone numbers that you do not recognise.
As a global company we have reviewed the current status of our manufacture and supply base and taken countermeasures to resist any potential impact. All of our factories worldwide are operating as normal and there is a minimal risk of disruptions at this stage.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your GS Yuasa regional sales manager directly or call our Swindon office on + 44 (0) 1793 833555 and speak to one of our customer service administrators, alternatively you can email us on info@gs-yuasa.uk
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
My best regards,
James Hylton
