Yuasa, the UK market leading brand for vehicle batteries, has announced the launch of several new battery types within its popular YBX Active Leisure and Marine offering. The move sees the Yuasa brand, which is manufactured by GS Yuasa, significantly expand its current line up and increase coverage for leisure and marine applications considerably.
The additions feature two entirely new ranges, YBX Active Marine Dual EFB and YBX Active Leisure and Marine Dual Purpose. In addition, a new NCC Class B EFB battery has been added to the YBX Active Leisure and Marine range. All seven batteries will be available from Yuasa distributors and leisure retailers nationwide from today.
The Yuasa Active Marine Dual EFB range has been developed to meet the specific demands of marine starting and auxiliary power requirements. The three Enhanced Flooded battery (EFB) types are constructed precisely for this dual starting and auxiliary power use and provide greater endurance, more available cycles and faster charging.
As with other batteries in the YBX Active Marine range, they are designed to handle the rigours of wave pounding and trailer transport, deliver reliable starting power and incorporate advanced design and safety features.
The YBX Active Leisure and Marine Dual Purpose range has been introduced for applications where high starting power and overall energy supply is required, such as watercraft, canal boats, trailers and horseboxes.
The three-battery range comprises of large (DIN) case size batteries. All provide very high watt hour power ratings, XVR extreme vibration resistance and superior endurance ability.
Yuasa’s popular YBX Active Leisure and Marine range sees the addition of the L31-EFB. Ideal for motorhomes and caravans with motor mover wiring installed, the battery is Class B NCC verified and provides up to 225 cycles. It is constructed with the latest technology to deliver optimum power and is recommended by Swift, for whom Yuasa are an original equipment supplier.
