GS Yuasa, the UK’s leading battery manufacturer and global powerhouse in energy storage solutions, is excited to announce its sponsorship of Tom Westworth in the 2025 F1000 Championship – one of the UK’s most thrilling single-seater racing series.
Tom Westworth, now 23, has been racing competitively since the age of six. After years of dedication, he’s now set to compete nationally in the highly competitive F1000 series, known for its lightning-fast, motorbike engine-powered race cars and high-intensity wheel-to-wheel racing.
The sponsorship will see GS Yuasa branding featured on not just one, but two cars in the championship – a unique opportunity made possible through close collaboration with Tom’s team. One car will carry the striking red and white livery, while Tom’s vehicle will run a bold black and orange design inspired by British Touring Car aesthetics.
Exposure will extend across multiple platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, alongside coverage through Chapman’s Corner and Alpha Live streaming, as well as all official F1000 pages. The 2025 season will include six events and 16 rounds at top UK circuits.
Jessika Savage, Marketing Specialist at GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd, commented:
